I grew up having hummus with many of the dishes that my Mom made. Hummus is a middle eastern dip made with chickpeas and sesame seeds (called tahini).
Hummus is a simple dish that packs a punch with nutrition and taste. It's a great source of fiber, high in protein, can help lower cholesterol, may reduce risk of cancer, has a good amount of calcium, and spreads easily on vegetables for a light and delicious snack!
