Do You Suffer From Scale Stagnancy?

Do you suffer from Scale Stagnancy?

It's been 9 weeks in the Total Transformation Challenge and you still didn't see any results. Ask yourself the following (don't answer it right away. Think about your answers. Be true to yourself)

Did you really complete the minimum required miles?

The weekly miles are there to help you create a caloric deficit. If you are counting the miles you do every day while working, then you are counting miles that your body is

already accustomed to. If your job requires walking, then counting those miles simply puts a number on your daily normal caloric expenditure. Try completing the competition miles on top of your normal work miles.

Did you really modify your nutritional habits?

Be honest with yourself. When the calories you take in equal the calories you burn out, then your body weight remains the same. Doing the competition miles and strength tasks will cause you to burn extra calories. This will make you hungrier than normal. Taking in Calories from not-so-healthy choices will compromise your efforts. Also, watch out for late-night snacking and always have a light dinner.

Are you really watching out for Calorie Traps & Salt?

Calorie Traps are food items that normally are small in size, but pack a punch in calories. Regular sodas, creamy sauces, heavy salad dressings are examples to name a few. Also don't forget your salt intake. Too much salt can cause a rise in your blood pressure to harmful levels. If you don't use salt, then watch for the Sodium levels in prepared food (packaged soups, dressings, breads, sauces, and some cereals) Salt can also cause your body to retain more fluid (water weight.)

If you really want to see results, then REAL changes need to take effect. The more positive changes you implement, the more results you will see. Most importantly, it's YOU who have to initiate those changes and keep them.

Start now. It's never late to make a positive change. Be honest with yourself. Be patient with your body. Before you know it, the sweet rewards of your hard work will be knocking on your door.

Happy Healthy Transformation!

Your Trainer,
Rami
