What was your biggest challenge / obstacle (s)?
My biggest challenge was staying away from pasta and cutting out bread after breakfast
What motivated you to stay on the course?
I became motivated after seeing my points increase and my weight decrease.
Did your diet change? If so, How? Please be detailed!
My diet changed as far as when I ate certain foods and cutting back on eating out. I find it much easier eating healthy by making my own meals.
What advice could you give to others that want the same results?
My advice is to not make excuses and just do it. You have to really want to make the change. Hanging out with active people helps me to stay active .Find an activity that you enjoy so that it doesn't seem like such a chore .If you're running and don't like it try something else like biking or swimming . You also need to be patient with the weight loss. After a while, you’ll find the cravings for the bad foods goes away.
How is this experience going to affect you going forward?
I been active for years so that won’t change. I know that I feel better when I'm carrying less weight so that will keep me motivated .I set a goal to lose more so that will be me going. I've also signed up for a 100 mile bike ride in September so that's my next challenge.
