Name: D. Nelson
Improvement: Increased Strength / Reduction in Body Fat (-3.4%) Time: 3 months Program: 2016 / 2017 Total Transformation Challenge What was your biggest challenge / obstacle (s)? My biggest challenge was and is my diet. The amount of working out makes you hungry. Your body will try to preserve calories, thus keeping the weight near the same. Calories in versus calories out is the part where you are in control. When you are tired, your brain wants calories. You have to be stronger than your own mind. What motivated you to stay on the course? The simple choice is to exercise, which I love. Seeing the fat percentage go down and a body transformation that truly you can see in the mirror. Did your diet change? If so, How? Please be detailed! My diet could have been stricter. I believe that the body will place itself where it wants to be to maintain itself. It is for the long haul that is relevant. I also gave more protein a bigger part in my diet this time What advice could you give to others that want the same results? Think about some of the points in the former answers. Question your motives for change in your life. Commitment is the key. It is for yourself, your life and your family. A strong body will create a strong mind and the reverse is true. It is not hard. The first step is the hardest. Challenge yourself. I dare you to fulfill your potential in life. How is this experience going to affect you going forward? Life is uncertain. You need to be healthy to fight through the tough times. Exercise fires me up yet calms my mind, body and spirit. It's a personal journey, live your life well!! |
