Time:                             11 Years
Program:                     TTC 2008, 2008 Summer, 2009, 2010, 2013, 2015, 2018, 2018 Summer, 2019

What was your biggest challenge / obstacle (s)?
My biggest challenge was finding the time to get in the required weekly miles. I started to include biking into my weekly routines, and taking my 11 year old son with me helps it to be more enjoyable!

What motivated you to stay on the course?
Once I saw that I was able to do the higher level challenges, it almost became an obsession to see what I could do next. Turns out I am stronger than I think I am.

Did your diet change? If so, How? Please be detailed!
I printed the Program's Nutrition Guide and put it on my refrigerator. I really started to focus on my evening meals and salt intake. I started to avoid the higher glycemic index foods for dinner, eating lighter meals in the evening. I also stopped adding salt to my food.

What advice could you give to others that want the same results?
Keep going. This journey never ends, there is no finish line. I have been on my personal wellness journey for 11 years, and I still have goals I am working to attain.

How is this experience going to affect you going forward?
I am going to take the nutritional knowledge I have learned and continue to improve my lifestyle. I want healthy eating to be my norm.
