My biggest challenges were eating too much, being unable to stop when I have enough, and resisting the wrong kind of foods. What motivated you to stay on the course? When I went to my Primary Doctor and she told me that my insurance is insisting that she put me on cholesterol medication while continuing to take all the other meds that I was already on. That’s when I decided that I need to make a change. Did your diet change? If so, How? Please be detailed! My diet has changed drastically: I eat smaller portions and I eat healthier things. Sometimes I do have some sweets or ‘bad’ foods, but I do not indulge in them like I used to before. What advice could you give to others that want the same results? DO NOT GIVE UP! I have been trying to lose weight for years, but I kept trying until something sticks; everyone is different so keep trying until you find something that works for you. But the key to losing weight is to be consistent in whatever you are doing and DO NOT GIVE UP! How is this experience going to affect you going forward? For me this is not just a challenge this was a lifestyle change. This is now my everyday routine, the way I eat and exercise is a part of my daily activities, and it is a part of my life! |
