Improvement: 3% Reduction of Body Fat Time: 3 months Program: 2011 Total Transformation Challenge What was your biggest challenge / obstacle (s)? My biggest challenge was coordinating time for miles, challenges and keeping up with all my other favorite activities. What motivated you to stay on the course? My biggest motivator was the “high “I felt after exercising. I would encourage everyone to find the “right “exercise for their lifestyle to promote their “high”. Everyone needs to relax and live each day to the fullest and stop stressing every little detail. Did your diet change? If so, How? Please be detailed! No, I did not change my diet since I already eat a very healthy diet, maintaining only fruits and veggies What advice could you give to others that want the same results? STRESSED = DESSERT These 2 are more alike than everyone believes. Too many desserts can cause weight gain; too much stress or chronic stress increases Cortisol levels which in turn will increase belly fat and decrease insulin resistance. Exercise and the “runner’s high” can help alleviate stress and decrease need for extra desserts by increasing endorphins |
