Location: JFK Medical Center. Atlantis, FL Improvement: 35+ lbs Weight Loss Time: 3 Months Program: 2009 Total Transformation Challenge Biggest Challenges: My biggest challenge was balancing my work, exercise time, and home life. My biggest obstacle was when my treadmill busted (usually I would run 45min a day- during this challenge) it was easy to run at home and I burned many calories doing it. I ended up at the gym which I already had a membership to just never went to it. I found out that their treadmills were softer and easier to run on than mine. On Motivation: My motivation to stay on the course was that I was actually doing it. I couldn't believe that the weight was really coming off/ plus I had to get on the scale weekly and I didn't want to show a gain. Dietary Changes: My diet changed a lot- mainly low fat protein and veggies. Sometimes I would moderately eat when at a party but I would eat lighter the next day and exercise more. Advice for Others: The advice I have for others who think they can't have a healthier diet and exercise pattern is that they should take the next challenge with Rami- he is awesome / supper supportive. He knows his business very well. He will put you on the right track for the rest of your life. Going Forward: This experience will help me realize that I can have my cake and eat it too - in moderation. Exercise is the key to having cake and eating it to.
