Improvement: 20+ lbs Weight Loss / 3% Reduction of Body Fat Time: 3 months Program: 2015 Total Transformation Challenge—Summer Edition What was your biggest challenge / obstacle (s)? My biggest challenge was doing the miles and working out because I could not get to the gym. When I got home I had to force myself to walk after working. What motivated you to stay on the course? What motivated me was my husband and my coworkers. He would tell me baby you can do this you did it before and it's for your health. Also my daughter and coworkers would tell me Angie you look good, you got this, and keep going so I would say to myself “Girl you can do this.”! Did your diet change? If so, How? Please be detailed! My diet did change. I would skip breakfast because it was something I was not used to. But I followed the Total Transformation guide about not to skip a meal and to always eat breakfast and make dinner your smallest meal and that’s exactly what I did. I was careful of what I eat and cut out the junk food and soda (that was hard because I love my Pepsi) Now, I don’t even miss it! What advice could you give to others that want the same results? My advice would be to not give up. It’s hard at first but it gets better as you go. For me this is a lifelong change and I'm not giving up. How is this experience going to affect you going forward? Going forward I am going to keep at it and every challenge the Employee Wellness has I will be there. I may not finish in the top Three, but that's ok. I will keep trying because as I said, this is a lifelong pursuit for me. |
