Name: G. Florexil
Improvement: 10+ lbs Weight Loss Time: 3 months Program: 2017 Total Transformation Challenge - Summer Challenge What was your biggest challenge / obstacle (s)? My biggest challenge was staying motivated and consistent. Being busy with day-to-day life made it hard to find a good hour or so to work out, but I tried to be consistent even if I work out for 30 minutes a day. Another obstacle I faced during the 12 weeks, towards the end of the program I was moving out of state, not being able to cook every day and plan a healthy meal was challenging, but I tried to make smart decisions while eating out. What motivated you to stay on the course? My results motivated me to stay on course, and the encouragement I received from my husband and other family members. I was also determine to push myself and get the best out of this program. Therefore seeing the difference in clothing size; was the most amazing feeling ever. Did your diet change? If so, How? Please be detailed! Absolutely, diet was the biggest change for me. I love carbs and sweet! I had to stop eating process food, sugar, and carbs. I ate a lot more greens, fruits and vegetables, and I drank a lot of water. Every week I would plan my meals in order to stay on track, and if I did not I would find myself eating the wrong food and will feel the difference in my body which was not pleasing. What advice could you give to others that want the same results? My advice to others who would like the same results is to figure out why you want to do this program. To be successful you have to want to get better physical and change your overall health. Food is medicine and we can all live a better healthier life just by watching what we put in our body, your physical appearance is a result of what you eat. Look at it as a journey rather than a challenge! How is this experience going to affect you going forward? Going forward, this experience will help me to make working out and eating healthy a life journey rather than a 12 weeks program. I will be keeping up with my results, and looking forward to seeing more changes in my body, and overall health. |
