Name: P. Mary
Improvement: 20+ lbs weight loss / 3.5% Body Fat Reduction
Time: 3 months
Program: 2018 Total Transformation Challenge - Summer Challenge

What was your biggest challenge / obstacle (s)?
One of my biggest challenges was to lose some weight. Indeed, I am thrilled to state that I ended losing 20.5 pounds due to a rigorous control of a combination of regular exercise and diet.

What motivated you to stay on the course?
My primary motivation to be compliant with self-proposed habits to regain control of my weight originated with my suffering knee pain, headache from time to time, experiencing high blood pressure and constant fatigue. As I was progressing in faithfully following my diet and exercising, I started feeling more energetic and in a happier mood. Also, I felt very much encouraged and motivated when some of my co-workers and my husband kept praising me for my good sense of humor and physical appearance.

Did your diet change? If so, How? Please be detailed!
By all means, without a drastic change in my daily diet and physical fitness, it would be more difficult to achieve my primary specific objective to lose 20.5 POUNDS. In fact, my diet consisted of less carbohydrate. More vegetables, fruits, proteins and drink more water. I don’t eat late anymore.

What advice could you give to others that want the same results?
Please do not procrastinate….It will certainly be harder to regain control of yourself if you remain passive and indecisive. However, I should admit that you need a great deal of courage, determination, discipline, and resilience. Success always requires some kind of personal sacrifice.

How is this experience going to affect you going forward?
As the saying goes, each good experience should be treated as the beginning of a long journey of ones exploring further initiatives and applying learned lessons. Certainly, I intend to pursue new similar objectives and goals to maintain good health, and purposely apply the learned lessons with respect to discipline, determination, resilience, and self-control.
