What was your biggest challenge / obstacle (s)?
My biggest challenge is scheduling. I can only get in 3 days per week. The biggest obstacles were lost time due to the flu, vacation week and celebrating a landmark birthday.
What motivated you to stay on the course?
Having success in regards to health, energy level, weight loss and healthy diet were motivational factors in remaining focused on achieving more success.
Did your diet change? If so, How? Please be detailed!
My diet had changed just prior to the challenge, but maintaining it has been beneficial. A typical day would start with a yogurt on top of additional blueberries. After running at the wellness center, I have a vitamin water and then some grapes. Most dinners would be a sun dried tomato wrap with chicken, lots of spinach leaves, plenty of tomatoes and honey mustard (no mayo).
What advice could you give to others that want the same results?
Diet and exercise. Eat fruits and vegetables that you actually like. Try your best to minimize sugar. Do your best get to the wellness regularly and don't have expectations. The results will be there.
How is this experience going to affect you going forward?
It's affected me by making me want to achieve more.
