Improvement: 60+ lbs. Weight Loss Time: 11 months Program: 2020 Total Transformation Challenge What was your biggest challenge / obstacle (s)? One challenge I had was figuring out what to cook for my family that was healthy for me to eat but that my family would also enjoy. Another obstacle I faced was figuring out how to work out once all the gyms shut down. I will be honest I am not the most motivated person when it comes to working out alone at home. I prefer to working out in a group setting or with a personal trainer. What motivated you to stay on the course? The most motivating thing for me during this challenge was seeing the numbers on the scale drop every week, my clothes fitting better, and my overall fitness level improve. Did your diet change? If so, How? Please be detailed! To help with the weight loss I started a high protein low carb diet. For breakfast I would make kodiak cake protein oatmeal or eggs. For lunch and dinner I would usually eat some chicken, shrimp or tuna along with some type of vegetable. What advice could you give to others that want the same results? I would tell others to never give up and keep working towards your ultimate goal. How is this experience going to affect you going forward? This whole experience has greatly changed my life. Besides feeling healthier. I notice I have a lot more energy and overall feel better about myself. |
