My biggest challenge was trying to squeeze in the time to work out. With two young children who bring home lots of homework and participate in extracurricular activities, it's not easy. However, I'm working around it. I'm walking around the soccer field as I watch my daughter play. I prep healthy snacks on the weekend so I don't grab the unhealthy/convenient items during the week. What motivated you to stay on the course? Thankfully I had a neighbor that saw me walking one day and she said she would join me. Now I have a buddy to walk with and it's nice to have someone who can keep you motivated. No excuses! Did your diet change? If so, How? Please be detailed! Yes. When I started the challenge, I also did the South Beach diet, as well as made some of the delicious menu items in Rami's nutrition guide. Because I'm eating healthier, I feel better, and have more energy. I no longer want to eat some of the unhealthy items that I was eating in the past. Even when I go out to a restaurant, I order healthier items on the menu. What advice could you give to others that want the same results? Keep motivated, don't quit, and try to find a work out buddy. We are all busy, but do it for yourself. You deserve it! How is this experience going to affect you going forward? My goal is to continue this path and maintain the weight. This is always the toughest part for me. |
