Improvement: 13 lbs Weight Loss Time: 3 months Program: 2018 Total Transformation Challenge What was your biggest challenge / obstacle (s)? My biggest challenge was improving my cardio and starting to run. At the beginning was tough but it got easier as I continue every day. As an example I will tell that at the first weeks I was doing 1 Mille in the elliptical machine in 40 minutes, now in20minutes or less. I couldn’t run in the trail mill because I was feeling so exhausted; now I’m doing 2 miles in less than 30 minutes between running and walking fast and felling so well. What motivated you to stay on the course? My biggest motivation was to improve and Lower my blood pleasure and lose weight in the process. Also the wonderful personal trainer; Rami, was a motivation to keep on going and staying on the course. Did your diet change? If so, How? Please be detailed! Yes. I started cooking at home a lot more and dining out less. A lot of the diet change consisted on cutting out to much sodium and started more creative with herbs, vegetables and protein. Include more salads and substituting for healthy carbs and controlling the portions I was eating. What advice could you give to others that want the same results? My advice is to try and not stop even when you feel like giving up. Age is not a limit, you are your own limit and we create our own limitations. Focus on what you want and get a goal that creates a commitment with yourself. Our body is our temple and only I can take care of my wellness. How is this experience going to affect you going forward? This experience will help me as I keep going forward with more energy, felling healthier and reaching new fitness goals and creating conscience in people that is around me and motivating them. |
