What was your biggest challenge / obstacle (s)?
The biggest challenge was establishing a meal plan that would help me reach my goals without feeling depraved. I was so used to eating certain foods for a long time that I didn’t know how it would go. But I was able to make it work; some of those foods I don’t even crave anymore.
What motivated you to stay on the course?
I had even more energy, my clothes were getting looser and it felt great every time I heard someone say “Keep it up!” I also loved the rush of endorphins I would feel after a good workout.
Did your diet change? If so, How? Please be detailed!
I adjusted the portion sizes at all of my meals and ate certain foods at different times-I really felt the difference as the weeks passed.
What advice could you give to others that want the same results?
Start with small goals and build from there. And acknowledge yourself every time you achieve one of those small goals
How is this experience going to affect you going forward?
I am so proud of where I’ve gotten myself to and what I’ve been able to accomplish. I am going to apply the same discipline I’ve established to other aspects of my life as well as continue to improve my overall wellbeing.
