What was your biggest challenge / obstacle (s)?
Weekends and going out. I tried to plan ahead before going out.
What motivated you to stay on the course?
The desire to be healthy, lose weight and feel better. I also really enjoyed doing boot camp and kickbox with my fellow co-workers.
Did your diet change? If so, How? Please be detailed!
I started a Keto diet. It worked for me but it's not for everyone. I did 20g of net carbs per day and kept my calories under or below 1200. I also started a month ago doing Intermittent fasting, mean only eating during a 8 hours period of time and fasting 16 hours per day.
What advice could you give to others that want the same results?
Calories in Calories out. Exercise is only a part of losing weight and getting healthy. Diet is very important part of it. I packed my lunch for the whole week and put it in the refrigerator at work. I also washed and packed my workout clothes for the week. NO EXCUSES.
How is this experience going to affect you going forward?
I don't plan to stop. My goal is to not think of it as a diet but a new way of life.
