My biggest challenges were doubting myself, and my ability to do the challenges, boot camp, just working out. I learned to stop saying “I can’t do that”. The other challenge was making the time to work out. I had to stop making excuses why I could not go and work out. What motivated you to stay on the course? When I began to feel stronger, had more energy and most of all the physical changes that began to take shape after a few weeks. My clothes began to fit better, then I went down a size, and that was it for me, overjoyed! All the wonderful people at the wellness center, we all encouraged and pushed each other. Just a great group of people! Of course I have to say that Rami was a great inspiration, and his encouragement really help me get over my doubts. Did your diet change? If so, How? Please be detailed! Started eating smaller portions. I had to really cut back on bread, my favorite. No more bagels every morning, rolls, etc. Now it proteins, vegetables, and fruit. Making sure that I drank a lot of water throughout the day and eliminating diet soda. What advice could you give to others that want the same results? You have to start somewhere, even if it is just a walk in the beginning, keep going, you can do it too. How is this experience going to affect you going forward? This has been a lifestyle change, and I plan to continue on this great journey. |
