Name:               P. Sandoval
Improvement: 20 lbs weight loss / 4.8% Body Fat Reduction
Time:                3 months
Program:           2019 Total Transformation Challenge

What was your biggest challenge / obstacle (s)?
To fit "me time” - aka “gym time" around life's unexpected emergencies. Finding time to prep meals around my overnight working schedule, sleep vs prep meals.

What motivated you to stay on the course?
The GREAT positive words and support from Rami and coworkers in the gym classes along with coworkers, family and friends. Not only to see the progress in my physical appearance but the progress in my endurance and strength. Being consistent with my life changes with my physical and eating changes has given me consistent progress.

Did your diet change? If so, How? Please be detailed!
Yes, I eat smaller portions and still feel satisfied. Since I work overnight, my last meal is right before I go to bed in the am instead of the average traditional breakfast I eat only veggies. After being consistent in my workouts I occasionally eat my favorite fried foods or sweets without feeling guilty. Rami's words stick in my mind after a great hard work out about not ruining a great workout with a bad meal...my interpretation "don’t work for free".

What advice could you give to others that want the same results?
Put "YOU" first and be consistent! To be a well-rounded person with all the hats you wear only a daily basis, you have to start with U 1st. Being healthy is to feel good inside not just look good in the outside.

How is this experience going to affect you going forward?
My transformation in this short period of time has given me a positive outlook on being physically active and making smart food choices is now my part of life. Now I know ANYTHING is possible so I will continue to make physical goals not weight goals.
