Improvement: 20+ lbs Weight Loss Time: 3 months Program: 2015 Total Transformation Challenge What was your biggest challenge / obstacle (s)? My biggest challenge was in regards to start thinking I could do something when I was not really able to do so. I had to psyche myself. Also, watching what I eat was another challenge. What motivated you to stay on the course? My motivation was to get back to my healthy weight that I was used to. Constant encouragements from family, friends and coworkers, plus old pictures and stored closet were a big push. Also, seeing the reaction of people to my transformation was priceless! Did your diet change? If so, How? Please be detailed! Diet did change. Very little sodium and juice (and this is coming from a juice and salt queen!) I also stopped eating after 7PM. No fast or processed food as well. Oh, and water, water, water! The reason for my obesity was eating out a lot (including take outs) and eating late at night after school or work. What advice could you give to others that want the same results? You have to mentally be prepared and dedicated even if you don’t see results. The scale might not be your friend in the beginning, but your clothes are as they will become looser sooner! Even if you were overweight all your life, nothing is stopping you from becoming healthier and fit except YOU. How is this experience going to affect you going forward? Christina is back!!! I refuse to anyone or anything pushes me back to that unhealthy stage in my life. Take care and maintain yourself. Love yourself! |
