Name: S. Jankowski
Improvement: 20+ lbs Weight Loss Time: 3 months Program: 2016 Total Transformation Challenge—Summer Edition What was your biggest challenge / obstacle(s)? My biggest obstacles were portion control and removing sugar from my diet. Also limiting meats, bread, and fried foods. What motivated you to stay on the course? After the weight started to drop I began having more energy, looking better and feeling better. Seeing these changes makes you want to stay on target. Did your diet change? If so, How? Please be detailed! My diet changed 100%. Breakfast consists of shredded wheat (no sugar) with low-fat milk and blueberries or a yogurt with 1 banana and Chia seeds and a tall glass of water with herbal vitamins. Lunch consists of fresh salad with low-fat dressing or turkey sandwich on whole wheat bread w/ lettuce and tomato and no dressing, fresh fruit- and a tall glass of water. Dinner, at an early time, consists of portion control - no red meats only chicken or turkey grilled not fried, steamed vegetables, salmon or low sodium tuna salad no mayo and a tall glass of water. Afterwards, I will walk around my neighborhood for 3 or 4 miles. Before bed I will have a hot cup of Chinese herbal tea consisting of Reishi (Lingzhi) Mushroom, Moringa, ginseng, and Turmeric to cleanse and remove toxins… What advice could you give to others that want the same results? Stay committed…Stay focused…Always hydrate and stay away from too much sugar and take multivitamins on a regular basis…monitor your weight. Watch your portions and stop eating late!!!...Walk after every meal to get the blood flowing…The heavier the food you eat, the lazier you will become…Stay away from commercialized snacks and drinks and go with natural results….Listen to your body and stick with the program. How is this experience going to affect you going forward? I will stick to my routine and monitor myself, walk, exercise daily and simply watch what I eat…and how much I eat… |
