Name:                         G. Fernandez
Location:                    Delray Beach, FL
Improvement:            15+lbs Weight Loss. 5% Reduction in Body Fat
Time:                          3 months
Program:                    2012 Total Transformation Challenge

What was your biggest challenge / obstacle (s)?
My biggest challenge/obstacle was my diet. Eating right was the one thing I was unable to control. I also like to weight lift. So i knew cardio was my next biggest challenge.

What motivated you to stay on the course?
What really motivated me to stay on track was my 9 year old daughter. I made her a promise to lose the weight, and have a healthy and smarter life style. She would help me exercise. She would help me count the push-ups and would also help me hold me feet when i did my sit-ups. She was my little coach.

Did your diet change? If so, How? Please be detailed!
My diet changed gradually. First, I started by cutting out the soda and chips, and continued to cut out all other “midnight sensations” like cookies, sweets, etc. Next came in portion control of rice! I come from a family that love to have rice with almost every meal. So needless to say rice was a big part of our lives. It was difficult at first, but after a couple of weeks it became more tolerable. Last, I converted to brown rice. I actually like it better!

What advice could you give to others that want the same results?
My advice for the future challengers is take it one day at a time. Results are not going to pop overnight. YOU must be patient with yourself, and not pay attention to what people do or say. Remember everyone is different. We all don't have the same body. What works for one person may not work for you.

How is this experience going to affect you going forward?
The experience of this program will last me for the rest of my life. I will eat and stay healthier. I would also like to give a round of applause to Rami our coach, motivator, and I am pleased to say Rami is a Great Trainer.
