Name:              C. Alonso
Improvement: 6 lbs weight loss / 1+% Body Fat Reduction
Time:                 3 months
Program:           2022 Total Transformation Challenge

What was your biggest challenge / obstacle (s)?
I have always been an athletic person who follows a workout plan and active lifestyle outside of this challenge but keeping myself entertained and ahead of my own goals for this challenge was my biggest obstacle physically.

Diet wise, my biggest obstacle for me during this challenge was reducing the amount of carbs from my diet. Carbs are one of my most favorite foods, so reducing them at the beginning was easy but adapting to less carbs throughout the challenge was harder.

What motivated you to stay on the course?
I was motivated to stay on course by the atmosphere at rami's gym! It was always so much fun to look forward to a friendly gym with Rami and my fellow gym mates, who all push each other to do better and smash goals together.

Did your diet change? If so, How? Please be detailed!
I changed my diet by reducing my intake of carbs. I've always loved carbs and included them in at least two of my meals a day. But after starting the challenge I knew that cutting carbs slightly and replacing them with more vegetables. I also completely cut out refined carbs and stuck to only whole grain and multigrain carbs.

What advice could you give to others that want the same results?
I would advise others to not think about it too much and just join the challenge or start a healthy lifestyle change asap. I believe that a healthy lifestyle is a journey and once you start seeing results, knocking out goals, and enjoying the dietary changes you won't want to stop. So, the best thing to do is start as soon as possible, listen to Ram's guidance, and seek better diet choices.

How is this experience going to affect you going forward?
This experience has made me more self-aware of the choices I make outside of the gym and more conscious about what I choose to eat. So, I know that in the future I definitely will be making better food choices and going for healthier options when eating out.
