Dinning out less and getting to the gym on a regular basis. What motivated you to stay on the course? Seeing positive results while feeling better and having more energy. Also, receiving compliments is very encouraging. Did your diet change? If so, How? Please be detailed! Most definitely! We used to dine out 2-3 times a week but I had to put that to a stop. Even when my husband brought home pizza I didn’t eat any of it. It’s an ongoing struggle I deal with daily. The changes I made by eating clean never end, and for me, every day is day one. What advice could you give to others that want the same results? While exercising is so very important (even just walking more), if you want to lose weight you have to eat clean. There must be a daily calorie deficit. I had to give up sweets and a lot of carbs to find a balance that works for me. It comes down consistency and accountability (weighing in every week). How is this experience going to affect you going forward? This was not my first TTC. I’ve done well in the past but usually regained some of the weight as soon as the challenge ends. This time I’m not going to give in to my old habits. I’m eating less junk and moving more. Its consistency and a new life style. |
