My biggest challenge was remaining consistent on days I really didn’t feel like working out. What motivated you to stay on the course? I’ve built bonds with other challenge participants and they’ve motivated me. I’ve completed more challenges successfully because of their support. I look forward to working out with them so that helps keep me on track as well. Rami has always been my biggest supporter and when he would tell me he believed I could complete a challenge I didn’t think I could he was almost always right. I wouldn’t have been as successful as I was without him believing in me and supporting me completely. Did your diet change? If so, How? Please be detailed! The main thing I changed with my diet this time was making sure I had breakfast. I previously didn’t think it was worth it to eat breakfast and I didn’t always have time. After a few weeks of eating a carb heavy breakfast consistently I began to see more results. Thanks to Rami for encouraging me! What advice could you give to others that want the same results? Take it one day at a time. You won’t see results immediately but don’t get discouraged! Beginning a fitness journey is about creating a healthier mind and body. It’s working even if you can’t see it in the mirror immediately. How is this experience going to affect you going forward? I’m going to continue these healthy habits to keep my body healthy as I get older. I feel better mentally and have found the stressful scenarios at work don’t seem so bad when I can “work them out” at the gym after work. By the time I leave the gym at the end of the day I forget what I was so stressed about in the first place. |
