Eating habits: Portion control and finding easy-to-prepare foods that were low in sodium. What motivated you to stay on the course? The time that I invested in exercise I seemed to get back double in energy level and sense of calm. I found I could accomplish more at work and not let stress get to me as much as before. Did your diet change? If so, How? Please be detailed! I didn’t realize how much sodium I was eating with processed foods such as lunchmeat and pre-packaged items. Rami helped me pinpoint small changes in my eating habits that had a big impact. I now try to eat as much fresh food as I can. What advice could you give to others that want the same results? Taking part in the challenge can help you find the workouts and eating changes that would work best for your situation. I found that structured workouts such as the speed line and LMR make sense for my schedule. Sarah helped me a great deal with flexibility and stress relief through yoga training. It’s amazing how much better I sleep the evening after a yoga class and how much more limber I feel the next day. How is this experience going to affect you going forward? I want to continue setting and achieving healthy fitness and eating goals. The expertise and encouragement I received from Rami and Sarah at the Employee Wellness Center helped me turn a corner in my physical fitness and I plan to continue making progress throughout the year. |
