What was your biggest challenge / obstacle (s)?
My biggest challenge was not drinking Coke. I love Coke!! I went from having 3-4 sodas a day to having none. So that was definitely a very hard thing for me to do.
What motivated you to stay on the course?
What kept me going, and still does, was the cutest pair of pants that I bought and hung up on my wall. They are a few sizes to small but I know I will get in them soon. It's the first thing I see when I get up and the last thing when I go to bed.
I was also motivated by my good friend Ruty. She is my gym partner and whenever I don't want to go to the gym she pushes me...literally. Her nick name is "little Rami".
Did your diet change? If so, How? Please be detailed!
Of course it did. I no longer drink soda like I used to and I eat 5 times a day. I have my 3 main meals and then 2 snacks in between. I try to only eat meals that I have prepared myself instead of eating out. And I make sure that I drink lots of water.
What advice could you give to others that want the same results?
You have to be ready mentally. This isn't going to be easy. Understand that putting on weight is easier than taking it off. IT'S GOING TO TAKE TIME SO BE PATIENT! You will hit some bumps in the road but don't give up. You will succeed!
