What was your biggest challenge / obstacle (s)?
This is my 4th challenge and I think the biggest challenge is staying on track between challenges.
What motivated you to stay on the course?
The scale! If I see my weight is going up I start to look at my diet, re-evaluate, and change up my work outs.
Did your diet change? If so, How? Please be detailed!
I started eating Greek yogurt, and oatmeal in the morning. I feel full and I am able to eat salad for lunch every day. I’m trying to stay away from bread and sandwiches. I’m limiting my fruit (sugar) but increased my veggies. I’ve been grilling chicken or salmon for dinner with salad and veggies. I never eat after dinner. I stopped eating MANGOES!!!!
What advice could you give to others that want the same results?
Be willing to change. Sometimes we stay on the same path thinking it worked before so keep on doing the same thing it should continue to work. But if it doesn’t be willing to make changes if you need to.
How is this experience going to affect you going forward?
What can I say? At this point I have no choice but to keep going!. As I get closer to my goal weight it gets harder and harder to see changes so I have to keep setting new goals.
Running a 5K is my next goal!
