My biggest challenge was changing my diet and eating healthy. It was extremely difficult sticking to my diet when I had company from out of town or when I was eating with friends. What motivated you to stay on the course? My ultimate goal is to become and stay healthy, not only for myself but for my son. I want to be able to teach him to play sports and run around with him and not worry about getting tired. Did your diet change? If so, How? Please be detailed! I didn’t really do a specific diet, I just started watching what I ate and thinking about how healthy/unhealthy my food choices were. I cut back on bread and dairy quite a bit. I ate a lot less for dinner. I started eating a breakfast, even if it was something small. The main thing was portion sizes. What advice could you give to others that want the same results? Increase activity and watch what you eat. If you have a hard time finding the motivation to go to the gym, try to find a gym buddy. If you have someone to work out with, push you, and keep you accountable, you will be more likely to succeed. How is this experience going to affect you going forward? I plan on continuing to lose weight and get healthier. Working out and eating healthier makes me feel better and gives me more energy. |
