Name:                         J. LaTour
Improvement:           12lb weight loss / 4% Reduction of Body Fat
Time:                          3 months
Program:                   2012 Total Transformation Challenge

What was your biggest challenge / obstacle (s)?
My biggest challenges were to build a new healthy habit, keep on coming back, and forcing myself to make time on my off days to get up and do something. I always enjoyed exercising, but due to some unforeseen challenges (broken leg and surgery on my hand) I had to push myself even harder to get up and GET HEALTHY.

What motivated you to stay on the course?
What motivated me to stay on course was the basic fact that I am very competitive. I always love competition. I have even got my wife to start exercising with me on my days off from the gym. I also realized that I am not getting any younger and I want to spend as much time on this planet with my wife and kids and this is the best way to do that.

Did your diet change? If so, How? Please be detailed!
I used to eat a lot of greasy food and drink a lot of soda. Both are very bad habits for me. Since I started this program, I have greatly reduced my consumption of soda and instead drink a lot of water. Now don’t get me wrong I still cheat every once in a while, but in moderation. I asked my wife to help me by not buying the things I love most (Chips and Soda). Also I have started eating a light breakfast which I never ate before Rami started me on his program.

What advice could you give to others that want the same results?
Push yourself as far as you can and then push harder. Listen to the trainer and never give up. Wow that sounds cliché, but it is the truth. I have watched people give up and go back to their old ways. Their health also went back to its old ways.  It takes 21 days to change a habit and this challenge has changed some of my bad habits for good.

How is this experience going to affect you going forward?
I am going to keep up with my new lease on life by going to the gym, getting stronger, eating better, and working out hard. I like how I feel 10 years younger and hopefully I will always feel 10 years younger.
