Name:              D. Cerrutti
Improvement: 10 lbs weight loss / 4.8% Body Fat Reduction
Time:                3 months
Program:         2022 Total Transformation Challenge

What was your biggest challenge / obstacle (s)?
Eating healthier is definitely the hardest part of the change it’s one thing to drag yourself to the gym. But giving up the foods you love to eat for a change in health is a lot harder.

What motivated you to stay on the course?
Improving vascular function, making sure I didn’t become diabetic or any other sort of health problems arising due to lack of exercise and bad eating habits.
Before I started coming back to the gym I was borderline from taking Cholesterol medications.

Did your diet change? If so, How? Please be detailed!
Yes. I cut out drinking soda and juice every day. Instead I focus on drinking only water and milk. With the exception of one Celsius pre-workout drink on days going to the gym.
No more candy or junk food on a daily basis which I had been accustomed to for a long time.
I tried my best to make sure I eat breakfast every morning even if it was just a quick bowl of oatmeal. Have a big lunch and keep the dinner meal light. If it was just chicken, tuna or beef to be eaten with salad.

What advice could you give to others that want the same results?
Be consistent and treat your expectations as realistic as the effort your giving to your body. It might take a whole month before you can noticeably see a change but it’s going to come eventually.

How is this experience going to affect you going forward?
It’s boosted my overall morale and regained confidence in my appearance. I feel I have more energy to do things throughout my daily routines. I definitely don’t ever want to fall back into the habit of NOT going to the gym.
