Improvement: 20+ lbs weight loss Time: 3 months Program: 2019 Total Transformation Challenge What was your biggest challenge / obstacle (s)? The weekends. Let's be honest you can be good all week and just destroy all your hard work over two days. It took a lot of will power to keep changes I had made during the week carry into my weekend plans. Once you get over the hump of wanting to see changes this will become so easy. You just have to stay focused and remember that you are only going to see changes in your body if you make them happen both mentally and physically. What motivated you to stay on the course? I loved going into my closet and trying on old clothes that before the challenge could not fit and watching them go on with ease. It was an amazing feeling. Also everyone around me kept me going. You will find a workout buddy or several working out at the employee wellness center and they can help keep you on track. Did your diet change? If so, How? Please be detailed! My diet changed completely. I went from mainly eating out to only dining in. I cut dining out to make sure that I was in control of what was going into the food I was eating. I started to eat more vegies and staying away from junk food. What advice could you give to others that want the same results? Stick with it. Rami is tough but fair and he will help you achieve your goals but only if you put in the work. If you cheat it is only cheating yourself. How is this experience going to affect you going forward? This experience has changed my life. I am now holding myself more accountable for the kind of food I eat and understand the difference between healthy carbs and unhealthy carbs. |
