Biggest Challenge / Obstacle(s):
The biggest challenge was resisting appetizers, desserts, and sodas when dining out with family and friends, especially during occasions like outings with the son and his friends, a cruise vacation, and the Easter holiday.

Motivation to Stay on Course:
The motivation came from a desire to overcome feeling tired and uncomfortable due to body size, wanting to feel better about oneself, and the dissatisfaction with shopping for clothes. Joining the challenge and seeing weekly progress in losing weight and exercising also provided significant motivation.

Dietary Changes:
The diet changed significantly, including:
  • Incorporation of green vegetables, chicken, lean meat, and seafood like lobster, shrimp, and crab, focusing on moderation.
  • Eating something every 4 hours.
  • Noting improvements in skin appearance and overall energy levels.

Advice for Others Seeking Similar Results:
The key advice includes:
  • Recognize that the journey is tough but achievable.
  • Stay motivated and surround yourself with encouraging friends.
  • Regularly look at before-and-after pictures to visualize physical changes.
  • Maintain strength and determination throughout the journey.
