The biggest challenge was finding the time to go to the EWC. Over time it became easier to carve out a bit of each day to exercise. I did realize the biggest obstacle of getting to the gym was me. I was always coming up with excuses not to go, but knew I always felt much better after I had worked out. What motivated you to stay on the course? Being part of a team, we held each other accountable and went to work out together whenever possible. On the days I didn’t feel like going, my teammates would encourage me to go and vice versa. We held each other accountable. Did your diet change? If so, How? Please be detailed! Diet changes – ordering out less, eating more fresh fruits and vegetables. What advice could you give to others that want the same results? You just need to make the commitment and stick with it. Go even on the days you don’t feel like it, you will feel better after and you will have more energy for the evening. How is this experience going to affect you going forward? I am going to continue to exercise and carve a little piece out of each day for me. Most of us care for others on a daily basis and we need to remember we can’t care for others if we don’t’ care for ourselves first. Also, from this experience, I realize I am stronger than I give myself credit for and I need to quit doubting myself. |
