Well that would be me! I had the distinct ability of talking myself out of anything. Not enough time, I am too old to do it, or my shoulder hurts. We all know the mantra. This challenge has taught me to change the way I think. Do not hold yourself back from trying something new or pushing yourself just a little harder every time. I have been repeatedly surprised in what I can do, no excuses. What motivated you to stay on the course? The motivation that kept me going was two folds. First, I was noticing I was feeling better about myself. I was so excited after working out and actually completing the challenges. Then I was noticing my body was getting stronger. I found the more I pushed myself the better I felt, physically and mentally. Did your diet change? If so, How? Please be detailed! I did change my diet. What helped most was the timing of my meals. The early breakfast, the big lunch and the light dinner. The cookbook that comes with the program is available to us and was fantastic! My two favs would have to be the pizza and the breakfast banana split, yum! What advice could you give to others that want the same results? The advice I would give someone who wants the same results would be this: ”Do not tell yourself you can't. Do not quit. Hang in. It is so worth it!” How is this experience going to affect you going forward? Going forward I am going to keep moving. This is who I am now. I am stronger and confident. I can do anything I put my mind to. |
