Atlantis, FL Improvement: 15 lbs Weight Loss / 3.5% Reduction of Body Fat Time: 3 Months Program: 2008 Total Transformation Challenge The biggest challenges of this competition were changing my diet and running regularly. to lose weight on a weekly basis I had to change my entire life style. eating, sleeping, and exercising became high on my priority list. My motivation was the competition. I've always wanted to be fit but never followed through. competition drives me. My diet changed a lot. I stopped eating snack foods and sweets. I eat smaller portions more frequently. I eat 3 small meals a day and snack on fruits and vegetables between meals. meals consist of lean proteins and vegetables. I all but stopped eating rice , breads and pasta. no soda. Just do it! learn about weight loss and strength training. create a routine and don't stray. give your self a cheat day every week. listen to your body but know that it can do more than you think. This experience has showed me the model for healthy living. I enjoy being healthy and strong and plan to stay this way. |
