What was your biggest challenge / obstacle (s)?
Finding the time! I get so consumed in the amount of work that I have that I was not making the time to focus on my health goals and weight loss goals. At times I had to get up and go, knowing that the work would be there when I returned!
What motivated you to stay on the course?
My team and goals helped me to stay focused and motivated. We all held each other accountable for making it to the gym. As the weeks went on we got more familiar with the classes and the challenges. As a team we stuck together and pushed each other to do our best!
Did your diet change? If so, How? Please be detailed!
Yes of course! This is the most important. Without proper meal planning it was extremely difficult. Healthy eating and healthy snacks in between meals was key for me. Taking the time to meal plan was what helped me be successful with my weight loss. Consuming the proper amount of protein is extremely crucial to optimize the most weight loss. Lots of veggies, proteins and fruits! No processed foods or canned foods.
What advice could you give to others that want the same results?
Don’t ever give up!! If you fall off, just get back on. Remember why you started!! Make a goal, write it down and look at it every day! Surround yourself with others that have the same goal in mind (or your competitors)
