Name: C. Guzman
Improvement: Meds reduced from 4 to 1
Time: 12 Weeks / 2026 New Year Challenge

What was your biggest challenge / obstacle(s)?
Getting started was my biggest challenge. Like many people, I knew I needed to make changes, but taking that first step was the hardest part. Once I got into a routine and started seeing small improvements, it became easier to stay consistent and keep moving forward.

What motivated you to stay on course?

The way I started feeling motivated me the most. I had more energy, felt lighter, and was happier overall. One of the biggest rewards was seeing improvements in my health. Before the Challenge, I was taking four medications. Today, I'm down to just one medication for blood pressure and cholesterol. Seeing those kinds of results kept me focused and motivated to continue.

Did your diet change? If so, how? Please be detailed!

Yes, my diet changed quite a bit. I became much more mindful of what I was eating and paying attention to my daily choices. I cut out sugary foods and drinks, reduced bread and other processed carbohydrates, and stayed away from junk food as much as possible. Instead, I focused on making healthier choices and being more consistent with my meals. The small changes added up over time and made a big difference.

What advice could you give to others who want the same results?

Just start. Don't wait until everything is perfect. You have nothing to lose and so much to gain. The first few steps are the hardest, but once you begin seeing progress and feeling better, it becomes easier to stay committed. Trust the process, stay consistent, and give yourself time to succeed.

How is this experience going to affect you going forward?

This experience has made me much more mindful of my health and the choices I make every day. I've seen firsthand how small changes can lead to big results. Going forward, I plan to continue building on the healthy habits I've developed and make my health a priority for the long term.
